Trained thousands of managers, attorneys, human resource professionals, and other personnel on prevention of workplace harassment and other equal employment opportunity (EEO) issues.
Worked for fifteen years as a policy attorney at the headquarters of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Served as key drafter of numerous policy documents setting forth the agency's positions on harassment and other job discrimination issues. Conducted training on behalf of the EEOC and developed EEOC training materials. Received three Chairman's Organizational Performance Awards, four Special Act or Service Awards, and seven Performance Awards.
More than ten years experience independently investigating allegations of sexual harassment and other forms of workplace misconduct.
Conducted EEO counseling, investigated harassment/discrimination complaints, and wrote final agency decisions for approximately seventy federal agencies.
Served as the EEOC's expert witness in sexual harassment litigation. Appeared on radio and television programs and addressed professional groups regarding workplace harassment and other EEO issues.
Received law degree with honors from Georgetown University Law Center and Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from the University of Pennsylvania.
Certified to conduct federal sector EEO counseling and investigations.
